Movement of Hope for Nigeria @JESUS CUP NIGERIA (Imo State)

Jesus Cup was successfully organised in Imo State, as Platform of Comfort Ministries emerged winner, to represent Imo state at National finals in Lagos.

Platform of Comfort Ministries won Assemblies of God Church by 5-3 goals during penalty shootout, which came after much tackle by both teams. Praise Centre Church and Overcomers Christian Mission made it through to the Semi – Finals stage, amidst four other denominations involved at the state level. Bishop Stafford Nwaogu of Praise Centre Church did the opening ceremony match kick-off, while, Rev. Princewill Odikanwa of Comfort Assembly did kick-off for the finals. These great generals commended organizers of this great football idea, affirming the game has great potential of uniting the church; a viable tool for evangelism in our jet age. The initiative is unique as it exalts the name of Jesus.

Noble stated that the victory of Platform of Comfort Ministries is certainly victory for all denominations in the state, as their football team represents Imo at National Finals of Jesus Cup scheduled to hold in Lagos State on 9th November 2019. He enjoys all to collaborate ahead of VICTORY CUP, being the next phase of the state project. He reiterates that Victory Cup is a novelty match between Political and Business Leaders versus Christian and Philanthropic Leaders that has invested in human capital in Imo State. They will collaborate to amplify the brand “NIGERIA” and commemorate victory in the State. HE. Ihedioha Emeka, is official face of team Political and Business Leaders. Rev. Princewill Odikanwa is official face of Christian and Philanthropic Leaders, as his team earned him this honor at Jesus cup played in the state.
